Yoga for Everybody.
About Elena...
Elena discovered yoga during a backpacking trip to India. After completing an introductory two-week yoga course, her teacher told her, "The yoga seed has been planted", and his words proved to be true. Elena's journey with yoga has grown from a small seed into a thriving tree, under which she finds, support, connection, and her own rootedness.
Her quest to expand her experience of yoga led her to Spain where she completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in Therapeutic Mindful Hatha Yoga. She completed the Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Bernie Clark and Diana Batts in Vancouver. Elena has additional training in adaptive yoga, yoga nidra, and trauma-informed yoga for youth.
Elena offers three class styles based on trauma-informed practice: Hatha, Yin, and Adaptive Yoga. Her teachings offer students a warm, safe and playful space to explore the alchemy of mind, breath, and movement.
I look forward to meeting you in one of my classes.

Story of Two Wolves - A Cherokee Legend
An old Cherokee told his Grandson:
"My son, there is a battle between two wolves inside us all.
One is evil. It is anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies and ego. The other is good. It is peace, love, hope, humility, kindness, empathy and truth".
The boy thought about it and asked,
"Grandfather, which wolf wins?"
The Grandfather quietely replied,
"The one you feed".
